Colt: 15 Month Update

Colt had his 15 month doctor check-up yesterday.  He did great but was not real happy with the nurse who wanted to weigh him.  He did better with his shots than he did at weigh-in.  I hear ya Colt, I hate to weigh in too but we really wanted to know how much you had grown since your 1 year check up!!

Anyway, here is his official updates and stats at 15 months:

Eating:
About the same.  Still a great eater, although we are working on the fact that when he is finished eating, he proceeds to throw the rest of his food on the floor to signal that he is done.

Sleeping:
Colt goes to sleep about 9:00pm and gets up at 6:30am.  Very regular.  The last week or so his schedule has been really messed up and has had some WEIRD sleeping habits.  By weird I mean, sleeping until 10am!  Not that I'm complaining but I do think this means I need to put him to bed a little earlier!

Daycare:
Colt loves daycare.....starting about 3 minutes after I drop him off.  He is not doing very well at the drop-off anymore.......he just wants me to sit with him and hold him.  Usually by the time I'm in my car, he is fine.  Also, Colt has supposedly developed into a bit of a bully.........if he wants something, he will just take it, no matter who is playing with it.  This new attitude has resulted in a few pretty decent bite marks from other kids.  Apparently we need to work on sharing.

Milestones:
Teeth - Colt still has 8 teeth - 4 on top and 4 on bottom. No new ones I have found but he is real weird about me investigating around in his mouth.

Talking:
Its hard to even list out the words that Colt knows now, he knows SO MANY.

The list could go on and on.  And these are the words he SAYS, not to mention the ones he understands.

What he Loves:
Reading books, brushing his teeth, dogs, dancing, the video "Dance Like You''ve Ants in Your Pants", watching football,  being tickled, jumping on the bed, and being outside, reaching up and touching the ceiling (via Stan),

Stats:
Colt wears a size 4 or 5 diaper, mostly 12-18 month clothes and a size 6 shoe.

Doctors checkup:
Weight: 24lbs, 5oz - 50th percentile
Height: 31.1" long - 50th percentile
Head Circumference: 19-1/2" - above 95th percentile
