Christmas 2010

Merry Christmas from our family to yours!

(The above sentence was all Stan posted about Christmas. HELLO, this day deserved much more than 1 sentence so here I go............)

Christmas morning Colt woke up about 9:30 (yes you read that correct, 9:30.....it was a Christmas miracle in it self) since we stayed up so late Christmas Eve. He came out of his bedroom and immediately ran for us to turn on the Christmas tree. He then noticed a few goodies that Santa had left under the tree!! Colt got a Pottery Barn "anywhere chair" with his name on it and probably his favorite Santa gift of all was his new coloring book and beginner crayons. We have been having to hide them from him because it seems all he wants to do is color. I''m pretty sure there will be a time in the near future where we get some new artwork on the walls from Colt. Stay tuned.

After we played with all of our Santa toys, my mom, brother and sister came over for more gifts and a yummie Christmas lunch. We had ham, english pea casserole, sweet potato casserole, macaroni and cheese casserole, corn casserole, and deviled eggs. It was my kind of lunch, lots of casseroles and starches. haha! Everyone was pooped after dinner and we all just layed around, napped and enjoyed being together.

We really enjoyed Christmas this year.....Colt got really into opening gifts and he also loved to stand on the packages. Not sure what that was about but it was funny. Click on the above pictures to see a few of our favorite shots from the day.
