The Boots Were Made for Rollin

With winter (hopefully) winding down, we got a chance to strap on one of Colt's Christmas gifts he's been waiting to try out: Roller Skates! He was pretty excited to try them out, but after a short skate down the driveway and around the cul-de-sac, Colt decided solid ground was more his style. I wish we had taken video of this so you guys could see his "mini-strides" on his skates. It was fun to watch!

He did take his skates to school to show off to his friends during show-and-tell, so maybe there is hope for him yet on the skates. We shall see - until then enjoy the pics!
