Bham Member Alliance Day

Saturday was Member Day for the Birmingham Cultural Alliance. That meant that our Zoo membership card would get us into any of 18 other venues for free. We started our day at McWayne Center, where Colt had a blast. Most of the exhibits there were aimed at older kids, but there was plenty to keep Colt entertained. We ended up spending most of the afternoon there, petting the sharks, watching fish in the aquariums, and playing in the itty bitty Magic City, an area designed for pre-Kindergarteners. Magic City had a padded floor and lots of play items - Colt had a blast crawling around and playing. We capped off the day with a visit to the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame.
