Stokin'' the Fire 2010

Saturday we went to the annual Stokin'' the Fire BBQ competition held at Sloss Furnaces. My mom and sister Susan drove up to join us for the day. We had a great time sampling all the BBQ, drinking lots of lemonade, and trying to keep cool. Some favorites included Cooking with Wood and JC''s Slow and Low. Both groups finished 5th and 6th respectively in the People''s Choice. JC''s Slow and Low has their signature BBQ sauce available on Etsy if you''d like to try it. It''s good!
