Saturday we ventured out early in hopes of avoiding the 100 degree weather and enjoying the Alabaster City Fest. Although we did NOT beat the heat at all, we still got to enjoy a few bounce houses, making a macaroni necklace, doing a Lowes "Build and Grow" project, Colt''s first pony ride, some basketball, a radio controlled airplane demonstration, and a dog show.
