Hoover Day 2012

In May, Hoover held their annual "Hoover Day", held at Veteran's Park near our house. It's a great day of family fun with inflatables, games, fire trucks, and even a few of Colt's heroes on display! We knew Dora the Explorer would be making an appearance, but didn't let Colt in on it. As we were walking around, he spotted Dora from afar and said, "Dad!, Dad! Dad!...Who is that??!!!" I told him I didn't know, and he told me "It's DORA!". He was clearly starstruck and wouldn't talk, but he certainly didn't pass up the opportunity for a hug from his one of his favorite TV personalities.

We also played plenty of games and hit the inflatables. The news was there, and took a lot of footage of Colt playing the baseball game, but unfortunately it didn't make it into the newscast. Click the pic above to check out our pics from Hoover Day!
