Summer Fun

It's been a little while since our last post, so we wanted to share with you some of the fun we've been having over the second half of the summer. Super heroes are the new thing in the Stabler house - we've gone from Batman to Robin to Superman to Green Lantern to the current favorite, Captain America. I'm not sure who is having more fun with it either: Colt or myself! 

We've been to Treetop Family Center several times over the summer. It's a great, budget-friendly place to spend a few hours. They've got everything from mini-golf to go-karts to video games. Colt and I played 18 holes there recently, which resulted in 16 questions of "Dad, is this the last hole?"

We also hit up of Dad's favorite annual events, the Stokin' the Fire BBQ Festival. For some reason, we didn't get many pics there. Guess we were too busy samplin' the BBQ! 

Today we also got some shocking news: Colt's daycare will be shutting their doors at the end of the month. This leaves us just over 2 weeks to find him a new daycare. He'll also be separated from a great group of friends that he's spent the last two+ years with. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers during this transition.
