Birmingham Legion 2019

We were excited for the arrival of Birmingham Legion, a long overdue professional soccer team in Birmingham.  The team hit the ground running, getting very involved in the community and in the youth soccer scene.  They put together a "D-League", which many of the premier clubs in the area, including our home club VHSC, jumped at the chance to participate in.  Colt and Sadie both participated in many camps, player meet-and-greet opportunities, as well as attended many games to cheer for the club.  Colt was also selected to walk out with the team on a couple occasions and won an essay contest on sportsmanship, which earned him locker room access before one of the big games.  We're excited to watch the club grow and be a part of its continued success.  Check out the pics from the season, and see a video of Colt below:
