Dad

Dad passed away unexpectedly on December 28, 2017.  What started out as a load of dirty clothes turned into devastation when the handrail on the steps broke loose as he was walking down the steps to the laundry room.  Dad fell on December 20 and suffered a broken ankle.  Soon after, this was followed by pulmonary embolism (blood clots) which did not respond to treatments. After a rollercoaster 8 days, Gene Stabler, my Dad, left this world at 11:35pm on December 28, 2017, surrounded by his wife of 50 years and children.  I will never get used to the idea of him not being here.

Fortunately we do have videos, audio recordings, and lots of pictures to preserve his memory.  He also leaves an incredible legacy with 5 children and 11 grandchildren. 

I added a page to the top of this site called "Dad" and I will add things to that page as I come across them.  Please enjoy these memories of the greatest man I'll ever know.
