Charlotte

Colt and I took a boy's trip to Charlotte, NC over the weekend to watch German super-team Bayern Munich's soccer game in the International Champion's Cup.  We drove up Friday to attend a semi-private practice session - there were lots of kids there but Colt fought hard to get his jersey autographed after practice and ended up with one of the star players - David Alaba - signing his jersey.  After the practice we saw Charlotte's minor league baseball team, the Knights, play.  On Saturday, we went to Discovery Place, the local children's museum, before watching the big game.  On Sunday, we rode the streetcar before heading back to Alabama.

It was a great getaway and Colt thinks we should do a guy's trip 3 times a year now.  While we wait for Susan to sign off on that, take a look at our pics from the weekend.
