One of the mostly unmentioned victims of Covid19 were all the missed birthday parties.  Finley turned 5 in the middle of the lockdown, so unfortunately we weren't able to have a traditional party with friends, etc.  We made the best of it, with some family dropping off gifts in the driveway.  We celebrated with a family pool party and we still had a lot of fun. 2020 brought the first Easter we didn't celebrate in church, in person at least.  But the pandemic wouldn't stop the Easter celebration.  We participated in our church's online service, then enjoyed a beatiful day outside.  Hope you enjoy the pictures.

In March, the Birmingham Legion, our local soccer team, held a kickoff event for season ticket holders with a meet and greet and autograph session with the players.  Even with the pandemic, the team was able to play a partial season with limited capacity. Unfortunately, we did not make any of the games this season but we were able to defer our tickets to 2021.  Looking forward to watching the Legion again from the sidelines!  The kids always enjoy meeting the players - check out the pics. 

Backing up to February 2020, we took a day trip to Tigers for Tomorrow, an exotic cat rescue located outside Gadsden.  The kids loved seeing all the lions, tigers, and other big cats up close.  Following that, we paid a visit to Naccalulla Falls and spent a few minutes enjoying the waterfall.
